How do I join the Photographer Program?

What products does my discount apply to?

The Photographer Program discount is valid towards all Minted photo stationery & gifts. The discount does not apply to, and commissions will not be paid on, commissioned art, customizable fine art, all products purchased from the “Direct From Artist” section of our website, fabric goods, Minted More membership fees, Photo Op or styling or customization services.

What orders can I earn commissions on?

You will receive commission on every client order placed that contains a photo that you have shared with them via your Photographer Dashboard.

How do I receive samples of the products to share with my clients?

If you would like to receive samples of any photo cards designs, please email us directly at All photocards are printed with the stock images already in place. If you have referred clients to Minted in the last year, please submit a photo of your choice in your email to us.

Is there a limit to how much profit I earn?

No, earn away! Minted offers between 13% to 20% profit on eligible sales with no additional work for you.

Where do I set up my Payoneer account?

It is imperative that you have a Payoneer set up correctly to receive commission payments and in a timely manner.

You can find step-by-step set up instructions below:

In your Minted Photographer Dashboard, scroll to the “My Payments” section and click on the “Register for Payoneer” button.

- Complete the four registration steps.
- Make sure that you have your local bank account details handy as you'll need them during the sign-up.

If you are a first time Payoneer user, please sign up for your Payoneer account using the link under the “My Payments” section per the step above. Please do not sign up for the account directly through This will ensure that your account is connected to the Minted-specific Payoneer program.

What should I do if I already have an existing Payoneer account?

Payoneer is a widely used payment platform that is used by other companies to make payments to their communities. From your Minted Photographer Dashboard, go to “My Payments and Tax Forms” and click “Register for Payoneer” button. When you are redirected to the Payoneer registration flow, please click the “Already have a Payoneer Account? Sign In” link in the first screen of the registration flow.

Adding clients & uploading photos

Follow the steps below to start sharing your photos with clients. You will earn commission and your clients will receive a discount on every order placed with photos you have shared from your Photographer Dashboard.

  1. Login to your Minted account at
  2. Visit your Photographer Dashboard.
    • Go to the My Clients section in your Dashboard.
    • Click Add New Client and enter your client’s name and email address.
    • An empty photo album will automatically generate and you can begin uploading your clients’ images.

    Once a client has been added, they will remain in your client list so you can send them photos from any future sessions. You can also update their contact information or remove them from your client list at any time.

  3. Upload & share your photos
    • Select your client’s name to open their photo album and click Add Photos to upload your image files. We recommend only adding a handful of images at one time vs a full gallery.
    • Click Email Client and an automated email will be sent to them with instructions on how to redeem the photos you've shared. You will have the option to include a personal note before sending the email.

    Your photos are automatically added to the Photo Library in your client’s Minted account when they click the link provided in the automated email. Once they've activated the link, they will be able to add the images to their favorite photo stationery designs during the card personalization process and their discount will be automatically applied in-cart during checkout.

Photo quality

What file types do you accept?

You can currently upload photos in the following formats: jpeg and tiffs. For the best print quality, photos must be high resolution. This means 300 dpi, printed up to a 5x7 card (for our full bleed cards).

Is there a size limit for photo uploads?

Yes, photos must be 10 MB or less.

How long is your turnaround time?

Proofs will be emailed back to the individual who places the order within 2 business days after the order is placed. Re-proofs, if necessary, will be emailed within 24 hours. Product order delivery times vary widely by product and vendor. Each product has an estimated delivery time frame stated on the product page.

What if I’m in a rush?

Our standard proofing process is 24-48 hours to ensure quality attention to detail on any changes made to the photo cards. To further expedite the shipping process, we do offer FedEx 2Day and FedEx overnight shipping. For further information on US and International shipping information click here.

Are my photographs protected?

Absolutely. Minted prioritizes the security of its designers’ and photographers’ work. Photographs that you upload will not be shared with anyone else. The images that you upload are for use of Minted photo card services. Clients will not be able to download or print images you upload for them in their photo tray.

Will Minted help me edit my photograph?

Delivering the highest quality products to our clients is our obsession. Our design associates will happily adjust your photograph by cropping, rotating, or resizing almost any image. Color photos can be converted to black and white or sepia at no charge. Please include your request in the special instructions box when you check out.

Can I submit my photos to be included in the designs shown on Minted?

We encourage our community of designers and photographers to show off their work. Submit your photos for consideration in our designs by emailing We will get in touch with you about possibly including your photographs in our design competitions or card samples in exchange for publicity.

Will my clients see a proof before printing?

Yes, every order includes complimentary proofing. After placing an order, a notification will be sent via email when the digital proof is ready for review. Please note that if your clients choose the “Express Service” option, a proof will not be created.
